The Cape Town based operation, led by Roger Röbeck, has evolved into a premier provider of quality service in the industry and as a market leader in handling local and international specialised projects.

Integrated activities provide for efficient importation and exportation of goods. The range of services includes: Air and Sea Forwarding, Customs Clearing, Ships Agency, Road Transportation etc. These services cater for normal, reefer and abnormal cargo. Project Freight owns a transport company, which provides a daily service to oil and fuel clients in Mossel Bay, as well as other routes.

Company expertise includes the handling of fuel, oil, telecommunications equipment, a broad array of manufactured goods, heavy plant and machinery, sophisticated and sensitive products, textile, beverages and even radio active material. In fact, name the sector and Project Freight is involved.

Notable past achievements include the full logistics managements of the importation of equipment used at the Koeberg Power Station and subsequently Supplier of the Year Awards.

Well qualified and experienced in the oil industry with Mossgas and Soekor (Now Petro SA), and numerous highly regarded international suppliers, current services provided include: handling time sensitive emergency equipment and spare parts and the total logistical supply to oil drilling rigs in Cape Town harbour and offshore.

The company has worked on the Omega, Actinia and Nymphea deep-sea oilrigs and on the South Sea Driller for Foramer. Project Freight assisted in the first shutdown of the FA Platform and worked on the D.K.E.S - Mossgas EM Field Development and managed the 350-ton calm buoy for EBT Projects. It acted as ship's agents for the carrying vessel owned by Mammoet. Supplied total logistics for the oil-drilling rig Sedco 1, which was converted into a production platform in Simons Town and renamed Orca.
